How I got started in roofing bookkeeping
I started roofing bookkeeping more than 25 years ago when my husband was running a small roofing company and we were struggling to understand where the money was going each month.
Our accountant only reconciled checks — nothing more — so I took it upon myself to learn real bookkeeping, job costing, and financial systems.
What began as a survival skill became my passion, and over the years I helped transform hundreds of roofing business by understanding our numbers, increasing profits, and building repeatable systems that worked.
